The Battle at Home Book Cover
The goal of this project was to create a cover for a short story that the client had written called The Battle at Home. The story was about a teenage girl growing up in the south during the Civil War and the hardships she must face.
Dixieland Doggie Daycare Brochure
The goal of the project was to create a new brochure for the client's Doggie Daycare business. The client already had a brochure, but the brochure was not attractive and did not accurately represent the client's business the way she wanted it represented.
Amanda Frederick's Business Card
The goal of the project was to design a personal business card for use in the professional design world for designer Amanda Frederick.
Ice Packaging
The goal of the project was to create packaging for a hair product called Ice. The entire design was designed in Photoshop and then brought into InDesign for the ad layout.
My Sister's Keeper Book Cover
The goal of the project was to re-design the book cover for My Sister's Keeper. The cover design needed to be significantly different than the original cover that already existed for the book.
Bridges Out of Poverty Flyer
The goal of this project was to design a flyer for Bridges Out of Poverty. We were only allowed to use the text that was provided, and the logo and photo of the bridge. The back of the flyer became a tri-folded self-mailer. It had to have the logo, return address and a space for indicia.
Sure Shot News Newsletter
The goal of this project was to design and produce a fun and informational 4-page personal newsletter about designer Amanda Frederick. It had to have multiple columns and to be created in InDesign.
Conceptual Imagery Note Card
The goal of this project was to design a note card to commemorate a graphic design style. A box holding 14 cards were also designed.
Symposium For Scholarship and Creativity Poster
The goal of the project was to design a poster for the SSC at The University of Findlay. The poster had several requirements which were fulfilled.
Merci Chocolates Packaging
The goal of this project was to design packaging for a food product, in this case, Merci Chocolates. The new design had to include all the components that were on the current package, including the nutritional information.
Commercial Arts Guild Brochure
The goal of this project was to design a 1-color tri-fold brochure to promote the Commercial Arts Guild (CAG) of Findlay. This “Slim-Jim” brochure was to be sent to potential members in the region to increase membership and awareness.
Symposium For Scholarship and Creativity Logo
The goal of this project was to design a logo for The University of Findlay Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity (SSC). The Symposium was an important campus wide event in which students presented academic and artistic endeavors to their peers, faculty and the community.
The RE Davis Company Logo
The goal of this project was to design a new logo for The R.E. Davis Company, which did not have an actual logo for their company. They were just using some text and a couple different images as their "logo". So we needed to design a logo that could be used on all of their products that would brand the company.
Garamond Font Poster
The goal of this project was to design a poster in honor of the Garamond Font.
The RE Davis Company Advertisement
The goal of this project was to design an advertisement for The RE Davis Company which they would submit to magazines for reprinting. The ad was about a new product they had just finished.
The RE Davis Company Acrobat Toy Tag
The goal of this project was to design a tag which would be attached to RE Davis' new toy they developed. The tag is 3" x 4".
